Cambridge is really three historic downtowns — Galt, Preston, and Hespeler — plus the Gaslight District entertainment quarter, and our event feed reflects all four. Expect a mix of live music at Gaslight, Drayton Entertainment shows at the Hamilton Family Theatre Cambridge, farmers markets along Grand Avenue in Galt, and programming from the Cambridge Public Library across its three branches. We also pull the City of Cambridge's official events calendar and the What's On in Cambridge tourism directory, which together cover the smaller community-run festivals (the Mill Race Festival, Cambridge Ribfest, Highland Games) that make the city distinct from its Kitchener-Waterloo neighbours. Every event on this page has a real location and date pulled from the source; when a venue publishes coordinates we plot the event to them, otherwise we anchor to the downtown Cambridge coordinates so distance-sort still works.
